iTech BPO employs a  ramp up to recognition approach. This process starts with remote data-entry operators keying in 100% of the data and ramps up to OCR automatically translating the bulk of the data that needs to be input.

iTech Data Management Life Cycle:

We utilize a powerful Keying and recognition application. Forms are mapped  by breaking them down into fields that need to be recognized and/or key verified. When introducing a new form into the keying environment it gradually begins to recognize the form type and associated fields. As more of the same forms pass through the system a gradual shift from keying to automation occurs. This means that the manual data-entry verification you start with becomes an automated process where individual characters, words, names, addresses, amounts, etc., are translated and verified.

Once recognition begins to occur only fields within recognized forms that cannot be translated with a high degree of confidence need to be manually key verified. This allows iTech BPO’s remote data-entry operators to key fields more quickly, and with high degrees of accuracy than the standard double-key entry model.
